I was a Gates Millennium Scholar and St. Petersburg Times Scholar at Duke University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience. I also conducted research at Duke's Center for Cognitive Neuroscience. I taught and tutored at Kaplan (which owns Manhattan Prep) for 10 years. I also co-authored a Kaplan ASVAB guidebook.

I am the founder and CEO of Omnia Consulting. I am an International Coach Federation (ICF) Professional Coach as well as a Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Certified Coach. PRINCIPLE OF TEACHING:
Mastery of concepts is necessary, but not sufficient in a tutor. A good tutor must also be able to teach those concepts in a way that anyone can understand. My psychology and neuroscience background enables me to assess each student's individual learning style. After getting a 710 (Q47, V41, IR5, AWA6) in September 2022, I came to Brad to help hone my quant skills. I was confident that I could improve my verbal on my own, but needed additional coaching on the math to bring my score up to my target of 750. Two sessions with Brad helped me to understand quant pacing strategies and hone in on weak points in my quantitative skills. When I retook my GMAT in November 2022, I scored a 780 (Q49, V51, IR8, AWA6) thanks to Brad’s help.

Knowledgeable and Effective Tutor!

I was skeptical about pursuing a personal tutor at first and truly thought I was beyond help. I had been self-teaching the LSAT to myself for over a year and a half and was simply not getting anywhere. I've tried pretty much everything too, from highly accredited books to LSAT programs like 7sage. After several sessions with Brad, I am now comfortably scoring between 163-166 on my LSAT within the given time frames, and I hope to improve even more before test day. Don't hesitate to work with him, the price is an investment, and in comparison to some other services, I think it's reasonable especially given the quality of each lesson.

Brad is exceptionally good at what he does. He not only has been tutoring for many years but has also taught at Kaplan and helped write one of their guidebooks. He knows the in's and out's of standardized testing and exactly how to approach each question type. He also has a plethora of resources (i.e. GRE guidebooks, strategy guides for each section, practice questions) that you have unlimited access to, which means you don't have to waste money on buying your own study materials. I especially recommend him if you're weak in GRE verbal sections. He helped me increase my verbal score by 14 points in just over 2 months. He will teach you how to get a text completion question right even if you don't know what any of the words mean. The strategies he teaches are like a cheat code and make this test so much less daunting. I completely expected to have to take the GRE 2 or 3 times to get the score I needed, but thanks to Brad, I only had to take it once and scored 11 points higher than my goal. I have historically been terrible at standardized testing, but Brad's expertise as well as his words of encouragement made me feel confident going into this test. If you're really serious about improving your score, it's 100% worth the money. Highly recommend!!

Outstanding Tutor

Brad was absolutely outstanding as a tutor for my son's SHSAT preparation. He was knowledgeable, kind, patient and flexible. We did remote lessons once a week and increased to twice a week just before the exam.
