I have experience tutoring students for the AP Government exam, as well as many years helping students to pass the U.S. History Regents Exam, as well as the Global Regents. I not only have tutored for the test, I actively grade the state tests twice a year. I enjoy tutoring because of those lightbulb moments for students. There's nothing more rewarding for any teacher, than to see that a student actually comprehended the content and was able to be successful in their classes. Further, I feel, as an educator, there are tremendous rewards in seeing my students become active and knowledgeable citizens in our democratic system. Learning the history can help students become better prepared for tomorrow.
