I'm a 4th year medical student at Columbia University with an extensive background in both hard sciences and economics. My academic record is built on rigorous preparation: I scored a 258 on the USMLE Step 2, ranked in the 96th percentile on the MCAT, and graduated with Honors from the University of Michigan with dual degrees in Chemistry and Economics.

My Tutoring Philosophy:
Most importantly, I absolutely love learning and I especially love getting my students as excited about their classes as I am. My favorite tutoring experience was getting a high school junior that was hesitant about math to be excited about her algebra 2 class and later go into accounting. It's incredibly rewarding to show students how much fun a challenging class can be when you approach it well.
My approach combines the rigor of my science background with the communication skills of a top-tier consultant. Before med school, I worked in healthcare consulting at a top consulting firm, where my job was to break down complex data for wide-ranging audiences. I bring that same clarity and communication to tutoring.
Experience & Background:
I have over 5 years of experience tutoring students from middle school to undergraduate levels. Beyond academics, I spent four years training and racing with the U.S. National Rowing Team. I know what it takes to perform under pressure, and I help my students build the discipline and confidence they need to crush their own "race days" (exams).
I am fluent in Spanish, having lived in Spain, Guatemala, and Costa Rica for a combined 10 months at intensive Spanish schools.
My schedule is currently flexible, and I am available for both consistent weekly sessions and last-minute test prep.
