Hello. I love to teach, counsel and tutor to ensure that all of your needs are attended to. I am currently enrolled at Ashford University and am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English Language Learner Studies. I discovered my passion for teaching after attending a Bridge EDU program in Santiago, Chile, where I taught English to native Spanish speakers. I conducted small group practice teaching sessions as well as one-on-one sessions. I also learned how to create lesson plans and design classroom activities. What I love the most about teaching and tutoring is the thrill I get from seeing others achieve their learning goals and making their educational experiences as productive and enjoyable as possible. I have also tutored my peers in high school, specifically assisting them with writing and proofreading.
I am open to teaching online sessions as well as in person. My schedule is flexible as well. I specialize in helping improve reading and writing skills, reading and listening comprehension, communicative skills, and literature for students of all levels. I am also able to teach math, science, and social studies up until the 12th grade level. I take pride in ensuring that students succeed academically, and am willing to cater to all of their needs.
