I have over thirty years experience teaching music at all levels and I enjoy sharing knowledge and love of the art of musical expression.

My lessons aim to meet the individual needs of each student whilst developing strong foundations of playing technique, artistry and expression to produce confident and expressive communication.

I have a Doctor of Musical Arts from Yale University. I have taught music history and University and Conservatory level. I have also taught musicianship, theory and sight reading at all levels. As a guitar teacher, I have taught all styles and have worked successfully with beginner to professional level learners.

As a patient and enthusiastic teacher, I look forward to helping people develop the skills for learning a musical instrument.
