I took advanced algebra and analysis courses at the University of Chicago as I was completing my BA there. I have experience tutoring students up to college level through Harper Tutors (University of Chicago program) in algebra and precalculus as well as high school students of various age. I approach my students as if I were a student myself and try to understand the way they think to achieve best results.

I am a native Russian speaker who uses Russian on a daily basis. I am fluent in speaking, reading and writing in Russian. I converse on a daily basis in Russian, read Russian news and watch Russian videos. I can assist student both with formal and colloquial Russian. When I took an online test for knowledge of Russian grammar and usage, I scored in the top 10% of test takers (which included native Russians). I also have experience tutoring native English speakers in Russian (some of that experience occurred while I was a student at the University of Chicago). My students have always been satisfied with my services and they usually recommended me to others based on the fact that I am a native speaker and can help with complicated cases.

Oleg helped me go from 0 to 100 on my IB math quiz

It was 10pm the night before my IB math quiz and I was stressing out because I couldn’t understand the material. I went on Wyzant and found a few tutors available within an hour but when I sent them the worksheets they weren’t able to help. Then I found Oleg and he started the session right away. Oleg helped me understand so well that I taught the class for the review right before the quiz. I am very grateful for Oleg helping me at the last minute to get a 100 on my quiz!
