Career development has been a focus of mine for the last few years. I have worked specifically with candidates to edit their resume/CV and find positions that best suit them. It is important for candidates to understand their skill set, have a clear idea what they are looking for, and understand the levels of positions (reach, safety). Besides job applications, I help with career planning to discuss education required to achieve specific titles or career paths. Creating a plan and allowing my clients to build relationships through my network of connections, helps them get on the path to success! As an ER Doctor I have helped many of my students be successful in their applications to various schools, and residency programs

Having gone through countless admissions processes myself I have now mastered the Common App and most medical school application processes. Through my tutoring methods I discuss the interests of my students and create a list of potential schools they are willing to apply to. From that list we narrow down and divide the list into safety schools, within reach, and above reach schools. I then go over the students' extra curricular activities and essays to assist them with creating the ultimate application as well as guide them through interview processes and other parts of the college process. I have seen great success in my precious students and hope to continue to see this on WyzAnt.

I was born on a small island of Greece, Kefalonia. After moving to the states at the young age of 4, I attended greek school and was always speaking Greek at home. I am fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the language. I took the Greek Regents and received a 98. I have been an assistant teacher at a Greek-Afternoon school in the neighborhood for 4 years.

After attending many leadership conferences on medicine and successfully completing many public speaking classes on my own, I am confident in the ability to teach students how to properly deliver a speech or lecture. I have received A's in all public speaking classes, and my minor in writing also involved many workshops where work was read out loud and left for open criticism or discussion. I have experience as a teacher assistant in the subject, as long as helping my peers by rehearsing and giving constructive criticism.

Nothing quite allows you to understand a student, like having gone through the same struggle yourself. As a student, I too took all regents exams including the Greek exam and scored 90+ on all taken. I have tutored students for the history, trigonometry, geometry, algebra, physics, chemistry and English Regents. I have seen a significant improvement in grades scored by my students, with the use of practice tests and thorough preparation.

We are very happy that we found Vivian for science tutor sessions. She is very knowledgeable on the subject matter that we needed and gives us feedback and update on Erynn's progress. Vivian helps me learn anatomy a whole different way and gives you tips and tricks to help you memorize things much quicker and easier. She also puts the way she teaches you into real life situations so you aren't just stuck reading from a textbook. i am looking forward to having her as my tutor for a long time. I was very nervous to take this class because of a lot of readings. And also a lot of terms. It is very hard me to understand everything by reading a textbook.
