About Sadie

Bio

I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Hartford with a B.S. in Biology. During college, I tutored several fellow students in science and math. After graduating, I volunteered with AmeriCorps as a Health Educator for K-12 students. I went back to school to get my Masters of Arts in Teaching for Biology from Manhattanville College. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Hartford with a B.S. in Biology. During college, I tutored several fellow students in science and math. After graduating, I volunteered with AmeriCorps as a Health Educator for K-12 students. I went back to school to get my Masters of Arts in Teaching for Biology from Manhattanville College. I have taught STEAM at after school programs, community centers, and non-profit. For the past decade, I have tutored a wide variety of subjects and standardized tests privately and through a company. My full-time career path has taken me from education to mental health. I have completed some coursework at Hunter College for my Masters in Social Work. I bring all of the skills I have learned along the way into my tutoring. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and working toward that "a-ha" moment when a student fully understands a topic.

  • Rate details: $75 per hour for second hour of in-person tutoring, $60 per hour for second hour of online tutoring. First cancelation within 12 hours of lesson is free, $25 for every cancelation after that.

Algebra 1

I tutored one Algebra 1 student throughout the entire school year last year in Rye and he got a solid "A". I am currently tutoring one student in Algebra 1 in Bronxville. I just started working with the student recently, but we have been very successful so far.

I am currently tutoring two students in Rye in Algebra 2. I have been working with one student since the beginning of the year and she currently has a 95 average. I have only been working with the other student for a couple of sessions, but we have been very successful so far.

I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching for Biology from Manhattanville College where I earned a 4.0 GPA. Living Environment and AP Biology are the two topics I tutor most often.
