I am a patient computer and technology tutor with over 15 years of experience with students as young as 4 and as old as 85. I have overseen technology at three schools and currently lead technology at a private school in Manhattan. I also have two degrees in education so I know how to teach in an effective way.

I currently teach introductory computer programming at a private school in Manhattan and have taught a variety of technology courses in the past. In my tutoring, I try to be the guide on the side and not the sage on the stage! My goal is to stay off of the mouse and let the student do the work. After all; the one who works is the one who learns.

I have several information technology certifications including the CISSP, Network+, Security+, CySA+, Microsoft Certified Professional and ITIL.

  • Hourly Rate: $399
  • Rate details: The minimum charge for all lessons is one hour. So, even if you only need 30 minutes, you will be charged the full hour. After the first hour, I will charge to the nearest 5 minute increment.
  • Lesson cancellation: 24 hours notice required

Most recently, I have taught computer science at several private schools including two in Manhattan. This includes designing web sites from scratch using HTML, working with databases and scripting languages, and leveraging popular content management systems like WordPress, Squarespace, and Joomla. These experiences have kept me up-to-date on the latest web technologies. I have also taught web design several times in my private school career and at computer camps.
