Bio

I served as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Vassar College where I decided on student outcomes for over 1,000 applications each year. During this time, I also served on the athletic recruiting panel and was part of our transfer process. As a member of the undergraduate admissions committee, I understand the intricacies of the highly selective college application process and how confusing it can be!

I served as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Vassar College where I decided on student outcomes for over 1,000 applications each year. During this time, I also served on the athletic recruiting panel and was part of our transfer process. As a member of the undergraduate admissions committee, I understand the intricacies of the highly selective college application process and how confusing it can be!

Since then, I switched sides, and I moved into the world of College Advising, where I worked one-on-one with hundreds of students from all over the world to gain acceptances to top tier schools. I've led a team of a dozen former admission officers from Ivy+ schools as we coached students through this process, helping build their profiles and tell their stories in the most compelling ways that resulted in over a 90% acceptance rate into one of their top 3 schools.

Currently, I work full-time at a tech company building apps and websites. In my free time, I love playing basketball (discounts for Duke fans!), debating Marvel fan theories, and hunting for the best burger in NYC. I enjoy helping students recognize and then, realize their potential with skills that they will take into college and beyond.

Very helpful advice and guidance on college essays

Before I spoke with Eli, working on my college essays seemed a daunting task as I had a lot of good ideas, but they were generally unorganized. Eli used his experience working as an admissions officer to help me focus on the core points I needed to make while still making sure my essays would be interesting and fresh. It was a pleasure working with him and great to get the confidence needed to finally put my essays together!

Eli was a very friendly tutor who knew a lot about the admission process. We had a lot done in a few hours as deadline was approaching.
