Bio

I am a Northern Arizona native, photographer and educator, I embrace the process of the documentary story, offering the viewer, a visual narrative of cultures and their stories. I love to share my knowledge on photography and have taught for some 15 years. I am currently offering tutoring and photography workshops in Tanzania, New York, and the American Southwest.

I believe that you will find my experience within the arts and media appropriate for a position to teach all types of Photography. My abilities have been shaped by the blending of academic exploration in the social sciences as well as the arts, with extensive work in both the commercial sector of photography and visual theory. My experience spans the entire process from research, creative development, writing, teaching and photography for over 25 years. I am an extremely proficient photographer with experience in every field and genre of photography. In order to be a great instructor, I have to be diverse and be familiar with all areas of photography. Teaching photography is what I do best. I have taught photography at Universities and Colleges but I have also taken students on Photography Workshops from Arizona to Africa. I am extremely dedicated to instructing and Photography.
