I have a sincere love for teaching and am thankful to be able to pursue this path!
My love for languages have led me to complete Graduate Studies with Distinction in both Russian (my native) and French. With 14+ years of teaching experience under my belt, I enjoy a challenge and seeing that "Yes I got it" look on my students faces! Throughout my tutoring my students have constantly increased their levels and have achieved stellar testing scores.
My concrete specializations are in French, Russian and English as well as ESL. I have experience in teaching college as well as school age children. I have also successfully prepared individuals for the ACT/ SAT / TOEFL tests and have done university proofreading as well. I am also a trained College Coach. My approach includes creating challenging and exciting lesson plans, assigning homework that enhances our tutoring time and achieving great results while learning not only the subject but how to love learning itself.
I accept and encourage feedback and am flexible with cancellations (although I prefer a 24 hour time frame).
To ensure that we have a quiet study space I offer for students to meet me either at a local coffee shop, library or via Zoom (in an interactive online format). It is also possible to conduct lessons at your home.
