Hello, and thank you for visiting my tutoring profile. I specialize in quantitative test preparation, especially GMAT Quant, GRE Quant, SAT Math, and core math topics such as algebra, number properties, probability, combinations, inequalities, rates, ratios, and word problems. My background is strongly quantitative: I earned an MBA from Tulane University, hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, scored a perfect GMAT Quant score, earned a near-perfect GRE Quant score, and scored 790/800 on SAT Math. I am also a U.S. Army veteran, a former investment banker, and currently a full-time financial trader, so I bring both academic strength and real-world analytical experience to my tutoring.

My tutoring approach is practical, exam-focused, and personalized. Many students know the basic concepts but struggle to apply them quickly and accurately under exam pressure. My goal is not just to teach formulas, but to help students identify gaps in their thinking, recognize patterns, avoid common traps, and learn the shortest reliable approach to each problem type. I especially enjoy working with students who are retaking exams and want to improve by fixing weaknesses in timing, strategy, psychology, and problem selection.

I have worked with students from the U.S., Asia, and Europe, including international students preparing for competitive exams. Whether you need help across the full Quant section or only with specific topics such as probability, combinations, number properties, inequalities, or rate problems, I can help you build a sharper and more confident approach. Sessions can be online, and in-person tutoring may be available depending on location and schedule. My goal is to help students become calmer, faster, and more accurate in high-pressure exam environments.

Algebra 2 is always my strength and that's the main reason I like to take teaching classes in this subject. I have assisted highly ranked teachers at school level and also have been taking tuition classes till today. If that's not enough, even my students enjoy studying this subject with me. My strength as a tutor is connecting with students, identifying the gaps in their math foundation, and patiently helping them turn weaknesses into strengths. I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and building confidence so students can understand concepts instead of just memorizing steps. Every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style based on the student’s needs. Whether a student is struggling with algebra basics, homework, tests, or overall confidence, I work with them patiently and consistently. My goal is to help students improve not only their grades, but also their ability to think through math problems independently. References are available upon request. My Credentials include: NTSE 1st phase qualified, Maths Talent Exam Winner,Editorial Committee member for World Trade Center magazines, Silver Award for best Maths Tutor at Undergrad level. Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra

Linear algebra is central to both pure and applied mathematics. Linear algebra provides the formal setting for the linear combination of equations used in the Gaussian method. The equations consist of fixed variables and constants. If there are two fixed variables then we need at least two equations to find the solution. Or else, there is no solution that exists. Similarly, for three dimensional equations consisting of three fixed variables we need a tleast three equations to reach a solution. Teaching has always been my passion. Therefore, I always work as a teaching assistant for my professors in whichever college I am enrolled. Recently, I worked as a teaching assistant and researcher of Undergraduate and graduate courses in Tulane University - AB Freeman School of Business and Tulane School of Mathematics for courses like Liner Algebra, Logical Reasoning etc. I also have a prior experience of teaching High School Students and Undergraduate students for various subjects. My Credentials: NTSE 1st phase qualified, Maths Talent Exam Winner,Editorial Committee member for World Trade Center magazines, Silver Award for best Maths Tutor at Undergrad level. Tulane Entrepreneurship club President, Vice President of Tulane-Graduate Business Council, President of Tulane - Finance Club.

Probability

Probability

Probability is the one an only area that sometimes goes beyond the scope of even the best. So folks don't worry if you can't solve every question of your textbook but you need to have your mind fresh and concepts clear whenever you are tackling probability problems. That's my advise to all students struggling in this area and this is what I work on with my students.
