My tutoring experiences expanded in college when I took part in a mentoring program. Three times a week I would meet a student at the local middle school in Binghamton, New York, to help him with his school work and to additionally be there as an older friend and role model. Although I am no longer at Binghamton, we still remain in touch.
I am very responsible with my appointments and my schedule is flexible so that I can work around the student’s free time.
