Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, I hold a masters degree in Political Science and have worked as a language tutor, translator and political consultant for over 5 years. Although I graduated from the University of São Paulo, I have also studied at Harvard University and the University of Sussex (United Kingdom). In 2009, I moved to the New York City area, where I kept my position as a researcher and advisor while tutoring Portuguese language to college students, executives and professionals interested in Brazilian Politics, History, Economy and Culture.
My tutoring sessions include: Portuguese language classes for all ages and levels; preparation for proficiency exams (Celpe-Bras) and university entry tests; translation (Portuguese-English, English-Portuguese); advisory in academic writing and editing; advisory and consultancy on issues including Brazilian Politics, Economy and International Affairs. In person sessions are offered in Manhattan and north New Jersey. Virtual sessions are also offered worldwide via Skype.
