Academic Writing, STEM, & Global Perspectives: 20 Years of Experience
Hi, I’m Katherine. I’ve been tutoring for nearly 20 years across the United States, the Emirates, and Lebanon. I see teaching as a dialogue. My goal is to help you build real pathways to knowledge and voice in writing so you can learn through intuition and experience. I like to figure out how you learn and meet you on your terms—especially for students who consider themselves neurodivergent.

Thesis & Academic Writing Consultant
I work one-on-one with students to help them craft their arguments and refine their work for Masters and PhD-level theses. For the past eight years, I have worked with students at the graduate level in politics and humanities, professors looking to publish their work at reputable journals as well as consulting with NGOs for drafting white papers, and/or research publications.
With a Master’s in International Relations from the Harvard Extension School as well as 6 years of experience consulting for academics and NGOs in the Middle East, I have deep experience in politics, Middle East history, and the humanities. My focus isn’t just on "editing"—it’s about helping you develop your academic voice by sharpening your argument and the structural integrity of your work.
Math & Science - Early College and Highschool to Elementary School.
I specialize in helping students who feel stuck or frustrated with STEM. I teach Math and Science for High School and Early College, as well as Mathematics for Elementary and Middle School.
I hold a BS in Chemistry and a BA in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Pittsburgh. Before moving into the NGO sector, I spent six years as an industrial chemist and received two patents. Because of this, I don’t teach through rote memorization. I focus on what you can actually observe in life and build on intuition and systems thinking.
