I am a third-year medical student at the Zucker School of Medicine, offering tutoring for USMLE Step 1 and the pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology shelf exams. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where I majored in Neuroscience and minored in Chemistry and Healthcare Management. My academic background and medical training have given me a strong foundation in the basic sciences and clinical reasoning, as well as an understanding of the challenges students face when preparing for these exams.
I have been tutoring since high school, and I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals. My approach centers on making complex material understandable and helping students connect individual facts to the larger clinical picture. I aim to help students understand why an answer is correct, recognize the key clues in a question, and work through unfamiliar problems with greater confidence. I also strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and revisiting difficult concepts.
Each session is tailored to the student's needs, whether that means reviewing foundational concepts, working through practice questions, or developing a focused study plan. For Step 1, I emphasize understanding mechanisms and connecting concepts across subjects. For pediatrics and OB/GYN shelf preparation, I focus on clinical presentations, diagnosis, and management. My goal is to help students build lasting understanding, strengthen their test-taking skills, and feel more confident in their preparation.
