I am currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin, with a focus on nursing research and evidence-based practice, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walden University. My academic training has developed my skills in clinical reasoning, research methodology, scholarly communication, and evidence-based nursing. For the past 5 years, I have tutored high school students, college students, university students, and adult learners, primarily through one-on-one academic support and small-group sessions. I have helped students with essays, research papers, literature reviews, capstone projects, thesis proposals, and dissertation-level writing.
My primary tutoring areas include essay writing, thesis and dissertation writing, nursing research, evidence-based practice, pathophysiology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, and medical-surgical nursing. I work with students approximately 16 and older and adapt each session to the learner's academic level and assignment requirements. When working on an essay or research project, I help students develop a focused thesis, create an effective outline, evaluate scholarly sources, organize evidence, strengthen arguments, improve paragraph structure, and revise their final work. For nursing students, I connect theoretical concepts with clinical examples to make difficult material easier to understand.
I am also experienced with APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, and OSCOLA styles and provide detailed guidance on citations, references, academic structure, grammar, and proofreading. My tutoring approach is patient, structured, and collaborative: I identify the student's specific difficulty, explain the concept clearly, work through examples, and provide constructive feedback that helps the student become a more confident and independent writer. My goal is not simply to improve one assignment, but to help students develop research, writing, and critical-thinking skills they can apply throughout their academic careers.
