I’m a Columbia University Mechanical Engineering student with experience at Apple, General Motors, and Columbia research laboratories, alongside over 6 years of tutoring and mentoring experience. My expertise is broad, spanning mathematics, calculus, physics, engineering, data science, programming, public speaking, leadership, and professional development. I bring practical industry and research experience into my teaching, helping students not only understand challenging concepts but also develop the problem-solving, communication, and confidence needed to succeed academically and professionally.
I am also a former college admissions counselor where I supported students through the college application process. At Columbia, I have led large engineering teams through Formula One Racing and held leadership positions in the African Student Association and National Society of Black Engineers. These experiences have strengthened my skills in communication, mentorship, organization, teamwork, and public speaking. I also pursue a minor in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies (MESAAS), giving me an interdisciplinary academic background that extends well beyond engineering.
