Hi,
I studied Economics, which included many complex mathematics courses. I have about ten years of tutoring experience, with areas of concentration in GMAT, GRE, Calculus, Accounting, Statistics, Linear Algebra and Finance. Professionally, I have had significant experience in Finance, specifically in Investment Banking and Equity Research. I am very proficient in financial analysis and financial modeling, and I am also a Level 3 candidate in the CFA program.
My method for teaching is simply the following: I try to understand how the individual learns, then I craft a tutoring process that is most optimal for them. I believe that the best way to learn is to do many practice questions. I find that completing many practice questions in an efficient manner is most practical because it allows the individual to retain information as well as to apply the information in a problem solving context. My tutoring sessions have been in person as well as online. I have tutored college students as well as college graduates interested in pursuing finance.
