I am currently pursuing my MBA at Columbia Business School and hold a bachelor's degree in Economics. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in quantitative reasoning, economics, mathematics, business, and analytical problem-solving. In addition to my formal education, I have several years of professional experience as an analyst, where I regularly used data analysis, critical thinking, and communication skills to solve complex business challenges. This combination of academic and professional experience allows me to effectively tutor students in subjects such as economics, mathematics, business, and standardized test preparation.

I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience working with students of various ages and backgrounds. I have tutored middle school students in mathematics, helping them build confidence in foundational concepts while developing strong problem-solving skills. I have also provided SAT preparation tutoring, working one-on-one with high school students to improve their quantitative reasoning, test-taking strategies, and overall performance. In addition, I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to learners seeking to improve their English communication skills in both academic and everyday settings.

My teaching approach is tailored to each student's individual learning style and goals. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, encouraging active participation, and helping students develop independent problem-solving abilities rather than relying on memorization. Most of my tutoring experience has been in one-on-one settings, which has allowed me to provide personalized instruction and targeted support. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that helps students build both competence and confidence in their abilities.

Business

Business

I'm a second-year MBA candidate at Columbia Business School with hands-on experience advising small businesses through Columbia's Small Business Consulting Group. In this role, I've worked directly with small business owners to develop go-to-market strategies, helping them identify target customers, positioning, and channels for growth. I also conduct industry analysis and competitive benchmarking, giving clients a clear picture of where they stand relative to competitors and where opportunities exist. This combination of strategic frameworks and real-world client work allows me to help students understand both the theory and practical application of core business concepts.
MBA

MBA

As a current second-year MBA student at Columbia Business School, I have firsthand experience navigating the MBA admissions process, coursework, recruiting, and overall student experience. I can help students with MBA applications, including school selection, essays, resumes, and interview preparation, as well as academic and career-related questions. My professional background in industry research and analysis also gives me a strong foundation in strategy, economics, business analysis, and data-driven decision-making. I tailor my approach to each student’s goals and focus on making complex business concepts clear, practical, and approachable.
SAT Reading

SAT Reading

I have extensive experience with the reading portions of standardized tests, scoring in the 95th percentile in the reading sections of both the SAT and the GMAT. I have experience helping students strengthen their reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and test-taking skills for the SAT. I focus on teaching students the tips and tricks of the reading section, like ruling out all irrelevant answers before finding the best fit. My approach emphasizes practical strategies that students can apply under time constraints, while also building the underlying reading skills needed for long-term improvement. I tailor lessons to each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and target score.
