With a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, and extensive experience in both clinical practice (current private practice, former hospital attending physician) and academia (teaching and admissions), I am well-equipped to guide you through the medical school admissions process. In particular, I focus on helping students with their application and school selection process - enlightening students on how to decide between MD and DO programs, including insights into career options for both credentials, and tailor their application to each program type. My coaching is also well-suited for non-traditional students who may have educational gap years, an established career in another field, or are on a second round of medical school applications.

I have firsthand insight into what top osteopathic medical schools are looking for in applicants. My experience as a physician and educator allows me to provide personalized coaching that highlights your unique strengths and prepares you for every aspect of the application process. Whether you're just starting to consider medical school, crafting your personal statement or preparing for interviews, I'm here to help you succeed. Let's work together to make your medical school dreams a reality!

Career Development

Career Development

I am a DO physician who did not get into medical school on the first round, which gave me firsthand experience navigating rejection, reassessment, and career pivots. I have professionally coached medical students, residents, and practicing physicians on career direction, specialty selection, and long-term professional development, and pre-med students interested in the DO pathway contact me each year for mentorship and shadowing opportunities. Beyond medicine, I have completed preaching and homiletics coursework through the United Methodist Church, which has strengthened my ability to help clients articulate vocation, purpose, and personal narrative. This combination of clinical, coaching, and communication training informs how I help people clarify their next career step.
Interview Prep

Interview Prep

I am a board-certified DO physician and adjunct faculty member at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, and I have served as a residency interviewer since 2014, including a role on a residency selection committee where I evaluated applications, conducted interviews, and weighed in on acceptance decisions. Since 2022, I have also interviewed applicants to osteopathic medical school, giving me direct insight into what selection committees look for at both the medical school and post-graduate residency levels. Through this work I have reviewed hundreds of applications and conducted interviews across a wide range of candidate backgrounds, which informs how I help applicants prepare. I help students anticipate likely questions, refine how they present their story, and strengthen the substance and delivery of their answers.
Public Speaking

Public Speaking

I am a board-certified DO physician and adjunct faculty member at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, where I regularly lecture and facilitate talks for medical students, residents, and attending physicians. I have delivered presentations at national medical conferences hosted by organizations such as the American Academy of Osteopathy and the American College of Osteopathic Physicians, speaking both in person and virtually to audiences ranging from small workshops to large general sessions. Beyond medicine, I have completed preaching and homiletics coursework through the United Methodist Church, which deepened my training in structure, delivery, and connecting with a live audience. This combination of academic teaching, conference speaking, and homiletic training shapes how I help clients build talks, manage nerves, and deliver with presence.
