My name is Jay M., and I am currently an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have always been in love with math and science, and my goal is to one day work for NASA! Throughout my primary and secondary education, I also participated in theatre and music (and I still do!), so I understand the trials and tribulations of balancing academics and extracurriculars.

As for my credentials, I have been working with young kids since I was a freshman in high school. Since then, I have been volunteering and working at my local theatre, running children's birthday parties at a local business, and have done about a year of math tutoring for elementary school students.
I took several AP courses in math, history, and English, and received 4's and 5's on all of my exams. I graduated from high school in the top ten percent of my class with a 4.3 weighted GPA and distinguished honors. Currently, I am studying at Pace University's Honors College with a 3.94 GPA. I will be transferring in the Fall to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. My past math courses include AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Statistics, Multivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations.
My goal is to help students feel confident in themselves so that they can tackle any challenge. Whether it be academic or not, I hope to help students build skills that will benefit them throughout their whole lives and careers.
