Hi! I’m a Harvard graduate with a degree in Statistics and a minor in Computer Science, and I currently work as a Data Scientist at a hedge fund.
Over the past several years, I’ve taught students in both classroom and one-on-one settings, and I really enjoy helping people build confidence in subjects that can initially feel overwhelming.
At Harvard, I worked as a Course Assistant for Calculus and Linear Algebra for over two years. I also later served as a Teaching Fellow for Harvard Business School Online’s analytics program, where I helped adult professionals learn data analysis and quantitative concepts.
During that time, I volunteered for three years with EVKids, tutoring students ages 10–17 in math and related subjects. That experience taught me how important patience and communication are, especially when students feel stuck or discouraged.
I’m also an IB program graduate and scored a 35 on the ACT, including a 36 in Math, so I’m happy to help with standardized test prep.
My approach is focused on understanding concepts rather than memorizing steps. I try to break difficult topics into smaller, intuitive pieces so students can solve problems confidently on their own.
