My classroom experience spans two decades, including significant time spent as a Special Education teacher for grades 2 through 5 in self-contained settings. I am proficient in employing a wide range of instructional methodologies, such as Project-Based Learning (PBL) and student-centered inquiry, to ensure concepts are accessible and engaging. Furthermore, I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, a specialized method for teaching reading to students diagnosed with dyslexia. This diverse toolkit allows me to adapt my tutoring style to meet the specific phonological, mathematical, or organizational needs of each child.
