Hello! I am an adjunct lecturer in psychology and a PhD candidate, and for the past five years, I have taught undergraduate students in courses such as abnormal psychology, developmental psychology, and learning and memory at various universities. My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing, a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in Visual Communication, and a Master’s degree in Psychology. Through my teaching, I have worked with students across a range of ability levels, including those who feel overwhelmed by complex material and those looking to deepen their understanding. Here, I specialize in helping undergraduate students move beyond memorization and confusion to build a clear, confident, and usable understanding of their coursework.

Each semester, I work with students, both in the classroom and through one-on-one sessions, who encounter challenges in comprehending the relationships between concepts, applying their knowledge effectively, structuring papers, or making sense of dense academic articles. My approach involves breaking down intricate material in a manner that is both accessible and intellectually rigorous. I emphasize concept mastery, metacognitive awareness, and the ability to apply what you’ve learned. Rather than simply providing answers, my objective is to provide step-by-step guidance, empowering students to produce robust, original work with confidence.

During our sessions, we will place a strong emphasis on understanding your learning process. I guide students in assessing their own comprehension, enhancing their critical thinking skills, and developing strategies that can be applied across various assignments and courses.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or just need clarity, I’m happy to help. I recommend scheduling a first session so we can break things down and create a clear, manageable plan.

I’m looking forward to working with you!
