While I'm new to Wyzant, I'm not new to tutoring: At Harvard, I served as a Teaching Assistant for multiple math and chemistry courses over three years, including Linear Algebra and Organic Chemistry. I also worked as a peer tutor, supporting students in both small-group and one-on-one settings. I have worked with students of varying ages (middle school through college) and a wide range of levels. My focus is always the same: helping students develop clarity through structured, intuitive explanations. I emphasize real understanding over memorization, so students can confidently tackle new and unfamiliar problems.
