I help students and professionals improve their English communication skills, with a focus on writing, speaking, grammar, reading comprehension, and confidence in expression. My tutoring is practical and personalized, designed to help each student communicate more effectively in academic, professional, and everyday settings.

I have over 15 years of professional experience in English and Spanish-language news media, communications, and policy-related work, where I’ve developed and edited content for diverse audiences and translated complex information into clear, accessible language. This includes experience at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, where I worked on communicating technical and scientific information for public understanding.

I hold a Master’s degree in International Affairs from CUNY Baruch College and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Latin American & Caribbean Literature from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

I am fluent in English and Spanish, with additional proficiency in French and Cantonese. My approach is patient, structured, and focused on helping students build real-world communication skills through clear explanations, guided practice, and individualized support.
