I also have classroom teaching experience working directly with students across multiple grade levels (8–12), where I supported both subject learning and academic skill development. I worked closely with students who needed additional support, helping them strengthen comprehension, organization, writing, and independent thinking, which contributed to all 54 of my Grade 8 students passing their History Regents Exam in January 2026.
I can confidently support students in meeting New York State Education Department History Regents standards, and my goal is to ensure that students are fully prepared to pass the exam through targeted preparation, repeated practice, and clear mastery of required historical themes, writing formats, and source analysis.
I hold a Master of Arts from Columbia University (2025) and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from University of Toronto (2024). My academic training is interdisciplinary, with a strong foundation in international politics, economics, law, and policy. At Columbia, I focused on Global Political Economy and International Relations, while at the University of Toronto I completed a Political Science specialist program that required both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Having lived in over seven countries during my childhood, I bring both global perspective and academic depth to teaching. This allows me to help students move beyond memorization and understand how historical events connect across regions, systems, and time periods. My teaching style is clear, structured, and results-driven: I break topics into key themes, then use guided writing, examples, and targeted practice to strengthen both understanding and exam performance.
