Hello! I am a writer and PhD student in Philosophy at Villanova University, splitting my time between Philadelphia and New York. My graduate work focuses on 19th-century European philosophy — Hegel, Husserl, Merleau-Ponty, and Foucault — as well as Buddhist and Hindu philosophy, with a special interest in Kashmiri Shaivism. You can learn more about my writing at https://alexandraronelang.com.
At Villanova, I've served as a Teaching Intern in freshman humanities and as a tutor at the Writing Center, where I worked one-on-one with students across every stage of the writing process — from early brainstorming through final polish — on everything from philosophy essays and personal statements to business school assignments and scientific papers. Before graduate school, I had a broad education spanning math, science, and the healthcare sciences, and worked in legal support, so I'm comfortable working across disciplines. I'm also a former homeschool student, with insight into that experience and the college admissions process.
I genuinely enjoy working with students, and helping them to find the best version of themselves as a writer. I want to help you get a good grade, but more than that, to believe in yourself and find your confidence as a writer. Everybody deserves a voice. I will be honored if you trust me with yours.
