I am a fourth year medical student at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, with a strong academic foundation in both the sciences and mathematics. My interest in teaching began early and has continued throughout my academic journey. During my time at Harvard, where I completed premedical coursework, I also worked as a tutor, supporting peers in science based subjects. These experiences helped me develop the ability to break down complex concepts into clear, understandable steps.
For nearly ten summers, I worked as a teacher with Prep for Prep and Oliver Scholars, where I taught middle and high school students in subjects such as geometry and other STEM topics. I worked with students of varying academic levels in both classroom and small group settings, focusing not only on content mastery but also on building confidence and strong study habits. This long term experience allowed me to refine my teaching style and adapt my approach based on each student’s needs.
My teaching style is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student. I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and engaging with the material. I focus on helping students build strong foundations in math and science, while also developing critical thinking skills and effective study habits that will support their long term academic success.
