I am a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University and dual undergraduate degrees in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and Psychology from Boston University, where I graduated summa cum laude. My academic and clinical training has provided me with a strong foundation in language development, literacy, grammar, vocabulary, and writing, as well as specialized experience supporting students with autism and diverse learning needs.
I have several years of hands-on experience working with children from infancy through elementary school in both one-on-one and small group settings. In my current role in an elementary school, I provide individualized and group-based therapy to students with IEPs targeting expressive and receptive language, grammar, vocabulary, early literacy, and social communication. I design engaging, evidence-based activities tailored to each child’s needs and collaborate with teachers and families to support progress across academic areas. I also have experience in early intervention settings working with toddlers and caregivers, as well as in clinical and school placements supporting children with a wide range of learning profiles, including autism, ADHD, and language-based learning differences.
My approach to tutoring is highly individualized, supportive, and engaging. I use evidence-based strategies and a child-centered approach to build skills in grammar, writing, spelling, vocabulary, and literacy while also fostering confidence and motivation. I am trained in Social Thinking® methodology and incorporate strategies to support both academic language and social communication. Across all settings, I prioritize creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and successful.
