Hi! I’m currently an undergraduate at Columbia University with a strong academic background in math, science, and the humanities. I graduated from the Bronx High School of Science, where I completed advanced coursework through multivariable calculus and linear algebra. I’ve also earned a score of 5 on numerous AP exams, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics 1, Calculus BC, Statistics, Computer Science A, U.S. History, and both AP English exams.
Beyond my academic experience, I enjoy helping others understand challenging material and have informally supported peers and classmates in subjects like math, science, and test preparation. These experiences have taught me that every student learns differently, and that patience and clear explanations make all the difference.
My teaching approach focuses on building deep understanding and confidence. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and emphasize the “why” behind concepts so students don’t just memorize, but truly understand the material. I also incorporate guided practice, where we work through problems together before transitioning to independent work, ensuring students feel comfortable applying what they’ve learned. I always adapt my approach based on each student’s goals and learning style.
I am happy to work with students on homework help, exam preparation, or long-term skill building. I’m flexible with scheduling and strive to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I do ask for reasonable notice for cancellations, and I’m always happy to discuss expectations before getting started.
I’m easy to reach and respond promptly—feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson. I look forward to working with you!
