As a native Spanish speaker, I have been tutoring the language since 2016. I have helped students in Spain enhance their proficiency in grammar and literature to prepare for the Spanish university entrance exams. In addition, while studying in New York City, I worked as a student teacher at St. John's University in the tutoring center, assisting college students with testing, study abroad preparation, and presentations. As a hospital medical translator, I have also taught Spanish to medical professionals.
Outside of college tutoring, I have taught Spanish online to children between the ages of 4 and 16. For each age group, I create personalized online content, which may include interactive games for reading activities, custom made videos for listening exercises, and speaking flashcards to support new vocabulary learning. I have experience teaching multifamily classes and always encourage parents to be present during sessions when possible.
