Hi, I’m Julia! I work with high school students, college students, graduate school applicants, and early-career professionals who want to strengthen applications, prepare for interviews, and make thoughtful academic or career decisions with more clarity and confidence. I earned my bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Barbara, where I double majored in Psychology and Political Science, then spent five years in business advisory sales and management consulting before transitioning into psychology. I am currently completing my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The Wright Institute and training in New York City as a doctoral psychology intern. Having successfully navigated competitive transitions across consulting, graduate school, and clinical training, I understand how candidates are evaluated and how to help them stand out authentically.

My approach is highly individualized, collaborative, and practical. I begin by understanding your goals, strengths, and what feels most challenging, then help you shape your experiences into a clear and compelling narrative. Whether we are working on college essays, graduate school personal statements, resumes, internship applications, or interview preparation, I focus on helping you communicate your value in a way that is both strategic and authentic. I also offer mock interviews and structured coaching for common and high-stakes questions. In addition, I help students think strategically about internships, career direction, and major transitions - including moves between business, consulting, law, and psychology. My goal is not only to help you submit stronger applications, but to build communication and decision-making skills you can use throughout your career.
