Hi! I'm a dedicated educator with four years of classroom teaching experience and a passion for making English, History, Writing, and Test Prep more accessible, engaging, and rewarding for every student.

As a Lead History Teacher at Success Academy, I taught 100+ middle school students annually and consistently achieved top rankings across our 18-school network. My approach gives students a repeatable literacy toolkit that helps students build confidence and skills. I've seen incredible growth in student achievement and confidence, and, eventually, they even start teaching me things!

Beyond the classroom, I've tutored students in History, English, and other subjects in small groups and one-on-one settings. Here, I blend writing, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and test-taking strategies to make students more confident and prepared. I've worked extensively with Special Education students and know how to differentiate instruction to meet students where they are. In 2024, Success Academy awarded me the Insistence Excellence Award for consistently high student achievement.

I believe every student can succeed with the right support and engagement! I use a mix of storytelling, humor, and unwavering rigor to make learning fun, challenging, and rewarding.

Currently, I'm a graduate student at Teachers College, Columbia University studying International and Comparative Education where I'm developing national curriculum on early American history.
