I am a rabbi and Jewish educator with over twenty years of experience teaching and tutoring in Jewish subjects, including Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation. I hold advanced rabbinic training, am a graduate of Harvard University, and have taught Torah, Hebrew, prayer, Jewish history, and Jewish practice in classrooms, synagogues, and community settings. My teaching experience includes working with individuals and small groups, both in person and online.

In my Bar and Bat Mitzvah work, I tutor students one-on-one to build confidence and mastery in Torah and Haftarah reading, prayers, and understanding the meaning behind the text. I am patient and highly attuned to individual learning styles, and I adjust my pacing and approach so students feel supported and successful. I help students prepare divrei Torah that feel clear, manageable, and personally meaningful, supporting learners with a wide range of Hebrew backgrounds and comfort levels. My goal is for students to feel prepared, capable, and proud as they approach their service.

I also work with teens and adults who want to deepen their Jewish learning, whether they are returning to study after many years or exploring Jewish texts and ideas for the first time. I teach individuals and groups, creating learning that is accessible, thoughtful, and connected to real life. Many adult learners come to sessions curious, busy, or unsure where to begin, and I help them engage with Jewish learning in ways that feel personally meaningful. Across all ages, my teaching emphasizes curiosity, meaning, encouragement, and steady growth, helping learners build both skills and confidence.
