I’m a Harvard College undergraduate studying Philosophy and the History and Science, fields that have trained me to read closely, think critically, and write clearly. I’m a Harvard College undergraduate studying Philosophy and the History and Science, fields that have trained me to read closely, think critically, and write clearly. Writing has always been central to my education, and I especially enjoy helping students learn how to organize their thoughts, develop strong arguments, and feel confident expressing their ideas on the page.

My tutoring style is patient, structured, and collaborative. For writing, I focus on creating a writing routine, building outlines, drafting, and revising, so that students understand the process of writing rather than feeling overwhelmed by rushing to the final product. In math, I emphasize understanding the “why” behind concepts, using clear explanations and practice to build both confidence and fluency. I’ve worked one-on-one with students K-12, supporting them with English and history writing, reading comprehension, elementary math, and algebra. Much of my experience comes from individualized, at-home support, where I helped students complete homework, prepare for tests, and strengthen foundational skills in a way that felt manageable and encouraging. I’m comfortable adjusting my approach based on age, learning style, and attention span.

Above all, my goal is always to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not just to help students improve academically, but to help them feel more confident, capable, and engaged in their learning.
