My name is Madeline R. and I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist who is also credentialed to work in the New York Public Schools. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia where I received an B.S.Ed. in Communication Sciences Disorders. I then moved on to receive my M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from Northeastern University.
During my education and continuing on, I have worked in a variety of settings including Elementary, Middle and High Schools, HeadStart Programs, private clinics, and assisted living facilities. My tutoring and treatment methods are all rooted in Evidence Based Practices (EBP) and are backed by peer reviewed research. I have experience working with ages 2-80 and specialize in AAC, expressive and receptive communication disorders, speech and language delays, reading comprehension, articulation, social pragmatic skills, and cognition.
Aside from my professional work as a Speech Language Pathologist, I have over 12 years in childcare services including nannying and babysitting which required at least some level of academic support. I have worked privately with children, requiring different levels of need (including dyslexia and Autism), supporting them with their academic work.
