Hi! I’m Isabelle, an accomplished academic and test taker with extensive tutoring experience. I graduated with distinction from McGill University (B.A. Anthropology, GPA 3.84) and have achieved top scores on standardized tests, including a 35 ACT, 10 AP exams with 4s and 5s, and a 170 LSAT.
I have been privately tutoring students ages 10–18 since 2018 in a wide range of subjects, including writing, reading comprehension, humanities, and test prep. My tutoring approach is personalized and student-centered, focusing on building confidence, independent thinking, and organizational skills alongside academic mastery.
In addition to private tutoring, I have volunteered at my local library, helping students of all ages with homework and learning support. Most recently, I worked full-time in a middle school, providing academic support to middle school students in one-on-one and small group settings. I use interactive exercises, discussion-based learning, and structured feedback to help students develop strong, lasting skills.
I am fluent in English, comfortable in French, and can support both academic subjects and standardized test preparation. My goal is to help students achieve academic success while fostering confidence and a love of learning!
