Hello and welcome!

I have over 12 years experience as a Finance Professor, teaching at NYU’s Stern School of Business, Emory University's Goizueta Business School, and the University of Melbourne in Australia. I have taught over 2,000 students, both domestic and international, across 10 different courses at the executive MBA, MBA, master’s, undergraduate, and high school level, covering financial markets and instruments, portfolio theory, and the pricing and risk management of equities, bonds, and derivatives. My teaching ratings are consistently high. I was awarded my PhD in Finance at NYU, Master’s in Statistics at the University of Chicago, and graduated top of my year in Mathematics during my Bachelor's at the University of Bristol in the UK.

I am a patient, passionate, and knowledgeable teacher. I cater to all levels, and every question you ask is a good one! I use a holistic pedagogy to develop your intuition, using real-world examples and news stories, while training your technical skills. I make complex ideas straightforward and interesting!

When I’m not teaching, I'm working on finance research, which I have presented at central banks, universities, and major international conferences around the world, winning a best paper prize in 2025, and publishing in top academic journals. I have been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, the Financial Times, Fortune, and Forbes. Before my academic career, I worked in financial markets at Deutsche Bank, the Royal Bank of Scotland, and a fund-of-hedge-funds, and recently consulted for KPMG.

I bring a unique combination of teaching experience at elite universities, research expertise, financial industry experience, and an enthusiasm both for finance and teaching. I am also happy to mentor you through university and job applications, and test prep.
