Hi, I'm Amil. I'm a Harvard grad, a polyglot (10+ languages), and a lover of sports, writing, and my family and friends!
For the past decade, I've taught SAT/ACT English and Math, French, Spanish, and college essay writing. While I bring both depth and breadth of knowledge, I make sure to listen closely to what my students need – both academically and emotionally. My priority is to make my students feel confident in their abilities, regardless of subject, level, or personal beliefs. I believe empowering people to believe in themselves is the most effective way to inspire students to succeed. Furthermore, where I excel as a tutor and mentor is in teaching my students how to think deeply and analytically beyond the subject at hand. This ability carries over to life: academically, professionally, and personally.
