I am a Johns Hopkins University alumna and a current medical student at Weill Cornell. I have been tutoring for almost ten years, beginning in high school when I first discovered how much I enjoyed helping students understand challenging material. Since then, I have worked with learners from elementary school through college, and I have supported many students as they improved their grades and study habits.
During my undergraduate years, I tutored through a virtual tutoring and also served as a biology tutor for students at my university. In those roles, I helped students strengthen their understanding of core concepts, prepare for exams, and develop effective strategies for approaching material. I also worked with younger students on foundational reading, writing, and math skills, as well as with older students on more advanced coursework and standardized test preparation. My teaching style focuses on patience, clear explanations, and breaking down difficult topics into steps that feel manageable.
As a medical student, I bring strong academic training along with a supportive and encouraging approach. I aim to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and where they can grow not only in knowledge but also in confidence. My goal is always to help students feel prepared, capable, and proud of their progress.
