I am Computer Engineer father of two and very familiar with the NYS and NYC curriculum for Math, Science, SHSAT, and the SAT preparation requirements. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, a Masters of Science degree in Computer Engineering in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an Executive MBA from Columbia University.

I have two daughters in the NYC public school system in the specialized high school program. I am very familiar with the NYS curriculum and the requirements for the subjects in middle school and high school. I enjoyed tutoring my daughters and would like to help other kids learn and succeed. I have successfully tutored my own children in Algebra I, Algebra II, AP US History, AP World History, and the NYC SHSAT exam.

I have structured study guides for Algebra I, Algebra II, AP US History, AP World History, and the SHSAT test. I would like to briefly assess the students needs and make sure we cover the scope of the subject while addressing any points the student might have missed in class.

These foundational classes are the base upon which high school and college build. Children that come to love learning will be successful in their future years if they are supported in these critical years.

I am qualified to teach Software Engineering and Computer Science having programmed for over 25 years in very large enterprises. I would especially like to tutorthe latest AI tools and methods of programming. The teams I have led have built avionics, x-Ray control, broadcast control, satellite control, electricity grid control, and many other critical software solutions. I hold the AWS professional cloud architect, the AWS professional dev ops, and the AWS professional security certification.

When it comes to programming, I would like to make sure the basics of data structures and algorithms are understood and move on to use latest tools and best practices especially in the use of cloud resources.
