I taught medical microbiology and biochemistry for four years in Karolinska’s medical program and mentored eight young scientists who are now in medical school, PhD programs, or public health careers. My goal as a tutor is to make complex topics in biology and chemistry approachable and enjoyable, helping students gain confidence instead of frustration.
My teaching philosophy is to go beyond book knowledge. I encourage students to apply what they learn to real-world scenarios and to think critically about how biological systems work. By adapting to each student’s learning style, I help them connect concepts across disciplines and develop a deep, lasting understanding rather than relying on memorization.
