Hi I'm Thomas! I'm a sophomore at New York University’s Stern School of Business, where I’m double majoring in Finance and Mathematics. I’ve completed advanced coursework including Calculus III, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, and Statistics, and other foundational math courses. I scored a 1550 on the SAT and earned scores of 5 in ten AP exams.
I’ve worked with high school students in subjects including math, chemistry, and physics, and I enjoy helping students prepare for the SAT or challenging AP classes. My tutoring approach focuses on building a deep understanding of concepts before moving to targeted practice, ensuring students gain both confidence and problem-solving skill. I strive to make every session engaging and personalized. For each student, I adjusting explanations, pacing, and examples to fit their unique learning style.
I’m originally from Northern Virginia and currently compete as a Division I NCAA fencer at NYU. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students see that subjects like math and science can be both approachable and rewarding.
