I’m passionate about problem solving, exploring science, and sharing what I learn with others. I earned a double major in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and Biomedical Engineering, which gave me a strong foundation in quantitative reasoning and scientific analysis. I have also completed a wide range of computer science courses and use programming extensively in my research, primarily with Python and R. This combination of mathematical, engineering, and computational training allows me to connect abstract concepts with practical applications, helping students see how theory translates into real-world problem solving.

I have several years of experience teaching and tutoring mathematics and related subjects at both the high school and college levels. I served as a Teaching Fellow at Johns Hopkins University for Probability and Statistics and later at Harvard University for Stochastic Processes. In those roles, I led discussion sections, created problem sets, and provided individual guidance to students. Outside my formal teaching fellow duties, I have tutored high school and college learners in subjects such as Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, and Real Analysis, as well as in Probability and Statistics. My students have ranged from those enrolled in standard, honors, AP, and IB courses to those preparing for advanced college-level exams.

My teaching approach emphasizes clarity, structure, and logical reasoning. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, intuitive steps so that students can follow not only how to solve a problem but also why each step works. I make a deliberate effort to communicate my thought process clearly, bridging the gap between expert understanding and beginner perspective. Whether teaching advanced probability or reinforcing fundamental algebra, I aim to build genuine comprehension, confidence, and problem-solving skills that extend beyond any single assignment or course.
