Hi, I'm Eamonn. I graduated in 2020 with a 3.8 GPA from Siena College in Upstate NY with a dual degree in Computer Science and Physics. I also played division 1 soccer for Siena. I come from a very math and science heavy household as my mother is a High school Mathematics teacher. She introduced me to the personal fulfillment received from working with and teaching the next generation.
While in college, I was a peer tutor in computer science intro courses such as intro to Python and intro to Java. It was there that I learned how to take a complex problem I understood and work through it step by step with peers, making it easier to digest. I enjoyed tutoring so much in school that I spent one of my college summers working at a Mathnasium location near my home. Most recently, I was a Microsoft TEALS volunteer (a program offering computer science support to high schools) at a local school when I lived in Texas.
I am now looking to get back into tutoring as a side gig. I currently work full time as a Software System Engineer in the Mobile Device space in the airline industry.
