I graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College, where I majored in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE). During my time at Dartmouth, I developed strong analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills, and I will be starting work at a law firm in January. I also scored a 35 on the ACT, which gives me a strong foundation to help students with test preparation as well as academic writing and reading comprehension.
While most of my tutoring has been informal -- helping classmates and friends with essays, test prep, and study strategies -- I’ve found that I have a talent for breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. I approach each student with patience and adaptability, tailoring sessions to meet their unique goals and learning styles.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades and test scores, but also to build lasting confidence in their academic abilities. I know firsthand how valuable it is to have someone explain challenging material in a way that finally “clicks,” and I strive to be that resource for my students.
