I am an experienced tutor with a strong academic background and a long-standing passion for teaching and mentorship. I graduated as the valedictorian of my high school and earned my undergraduate degree in history from Princeton University. While at Princeton, I completed an independent senior thesis, which strengthened my ability to guide students through long-form writing and research projects. I also studied advanced Spanish and participated in an intensive language and cultural immersion program in Toledo, Spain, where I lived with a host family for a summer.

After college, I worked in finance before returning to school, and I am currently a law student at Fordham Law School, where I serve as a teaching assistant for the first-year legal writing program. My academic training has given me a deep foundation in writing, critical thinking, and analytical skills, which I bring to every tutoring session.
I have extensive tutoring experience across multiple age groups and subjects. In high school and college, I tutored elementary, middle school, and high school students in a wide range of subjects, and during college I co-founded a tutoring and mentorship program to support local middle and high school students. I have also tutored college-level humanities courses and am comfortable helping students with college application essays and academic writing more broadly in addition to tutoring Spanish classes.

My tutoring approach is patient, personalized, and collaborative. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals, and I tailor my lessons accordingly. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, dedication, and consistency, and I view tutoring as a partnership rather than a one-way lecture. I prepare carefully for each session so that our time together is productive and I aim to help students not only improve their academic performance but also develop the skills they need to excel in school independently.

Legal Writing

Legal Writing

I am a second year law student. I received an A in my Legal Writing class last year and I am currently working as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant for the 1L class. Through my experience as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant, I assist the professor in teaching legal writing structure and format (such as employing the legal structure of CREAC in memos and appellate briefs) to students. I also hold office hours where I tutor students 1:1 who are looking for extra support with their writing or would like to review feedback from past assignments. Additionally, I review and provide feedback on student papers in my role as a teaching assistant as well as rank papers to assist the professor with the grading process. My feedback on graded assignments focuses on both the substance of the paper and the quality of the blue booking.
